- Make sure the facility is properly licensed (some unlicensed ones may be demolished).
- Private burial within city limits is prohibited and may result in penalties.
- Don’t keep the urn on a balcony (a friend’s got sun-bleached—heartbreaking).
Now every time I visit, I find comfort—
Green trees, fresh flowers, and the caretaker auntie who helps sweep away fallen leaves.
They’ve simply stepped out of time, becoming the most fundamental parts of the universe…
(Our fur babies loved us their whole lives—they deserve this kindness.)
